Thanksgiving Cranberry Sauce

This recipe is simple and delicious which has made it my go-to cranberry sauce!

The hint of orange and cinnamon makes it delicious! Keep it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 10-14 days. So you can easily make this recipe before Thanksgiving day!

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients: 

  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 12 ounces cranberries - (1 12 oz. bag)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest

Directions:

  • Combine white and light brown sugar with orange juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. 
  • Add bag of cranberries and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Add cinnamon, salt, and orange zest. Stir to combine and remove from heat. 
  • Allow to cool before serving. Keep stored in refrigerator.
