This recipe is simple and delicious which has made it my go-to cranberry sauce!
The hint of orange and cinnamon makes it delicious! Keep it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 10-14 days. So you can easily make this recipe before Thanksgiving day!
Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 12 ounces cranberries - (1 12 oz. bag)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
Directions:
- Combine white and light brown sugar with orange juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add bag of cranberries and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add cinnamon, salt, and orange zest. Stir to combine and remove from heat.
- Allow to cool before serving. Keep stored in refrigerator.
